My Ideal Winter Coat & Boots

My current favourite winter bits to wear is my navy wool coat from COS, followed by my Topshop over the knee high boots, both of which are featured in today's look. I just can't get enough of them right now.

I think the above look would make for a great look for work during the winter months. Its clean cut with a nice little edge so as not to blend into the background. I chose a sleeves polo neck top but as it gets colder it would probably better to replace that with a long sleeved top.

That ASOS Leather Skirt Again

I'm still very much in love with my ASOS leather skirt as you may very well be able to tell from my style looks over the past couple of weeks. This time round I've teamed it up with a polo neck top and winter coat from Mango to seal the look. Its a look that would be suitable for those smart casual lunches or events. I've chosen to keep my accessories to a minimal but a statement necklace would be a great addition to vamp up this look some more.

Kensington Cavier 45sec top coat (L) and Bruton Mews (R)

I finally decided to try Bruton Mews from the Nails inc. nail newly released nail varnish range and I have to say that I might actually prefer the nail kale range to the gel effects polish.

I didn't think Nails inc. could out do the quality of the gel effects polish but I think they may very well have done so with the nail kale range range. Much like the gel effects, the nail kale polish mixture is rich and thick thus requiring minimal applications to achieve a polished look.

You could get away with not using a top coat to seal the polish as it dries up with a glossy finish. I happen to like my nails looking glossy for as long as possible and for me nails inc. Kensington caviar top coat in my opinion is the best out there, it's a quick drying polish with a lasting glossy finish. It has my nails looking glossy for up to two weeks and im sure if I kept them on longer than that it would still have my nails glossing away. I don't think you could ask for anything more when it comes to top coats!

A New Addition For The Winter Wardrobe

Now this right here is most probably the best purchase that I have made all year, the COS wool mohair coat that I recently bought to add to my winter wardrobe.

Its not only a stylish piece of outerwear but it does a great job of keeping me warm so much so that it doesn't feel so much like winter whenever I wear it. It has now become my new favourite outerwear piece this season and I know if it's because it's navy too but I cannot seem to get enough of it right now so dont be surprised if you see it a few more of my winter looks.

Coming up soon...the Zara printed leather heels

Stripe Me Navy

Another day, another navy outfit, it's like it is almost impossible for me to go through the entire week and not slip on a navy garment.

Today's post features a few oldies that haven't made it out of my wardrobe for quite sometime now. The skirt is something I picked up during the winter sales last year from Zara and the cardigan is an oldie I have had for quite some time now so I paired the two up to create this flirty fun look.

This blog post has been a long time coming so I am glad that is finally up for you guys to view, hope you like it.

Hats Off To You

Hats Off To You

With the cold season upon us, keeping warm is quite important but looking stylish should be equally as important too. Since we lose quite a lot of heat from our heads, wearing a hat is one way to keep your body well insulated when out and about.

I have put together a small selection of stylish hats to help accessorise your autumn winter look, from the beanie to the fedora to the felt hat. The choice is yours. There is so many different styles and options out there when it comes to hats that even putting together this small collection was difficult because I didn't know what not to include.

Leather Mix

I can remember the excitement I felt when I came across the leather skirt featured in today's look on ASOS. The price tag for what was a 100% leather composition was undeniably too good to forgo that I had to have it in my possession and much to my annoyance the price was reduced further after I had made by purchase. I did entertain the idea of repurchasing the skirt and then returning my first initial purchase but I didn't follow through with it.

The look featured in this post was one I put together at the beginning of the autumn season when the sun was high up in the sky and I didn't really need an outerwear piece. However given the current temperatures over here in London, I would advise wearing either a short jacket that sits on the waist or a lengthy coat to complete the look.

I kept the colours dark for this look allowing the checked scarf (my current favourite) and red lips to brighten up the look so the look wasn't too subdued. Its an ideal look for those weekend dinner dates.

Need Want Now: Kandee Shoes

Whip heels

Anaconda heels

Exotic heels

Raspberry Sours

Taylor boots

Tantric boots

My latest fashion obsession are these eye catching footwear pieces from Kandee Shoes.

The tantric over the knee peep toe lace up boots have to be my all time favourite from the Kandee shoe collection. If it wasn't sold out in my size then I would have been tempted to buy myself a pair but instead I am left to drool over these bad boys.

I love the detailed finish to the Kandee shoes especially the sours collection which is very reminiscent of the Christian Louboutin pigalle spiked heels and not to add the colourful soles of the shoes. If you happen to find yourself lusting over these beauties, they are currently on sale at so you can snap up a pair or two.

Alexander Wang X H&M Bustier

After waiting patiently for over a week, my bustier from the Alexander Wang X H&M collection finally arrived in the post today. I was beginning to think it got lost in the post so I so glad it made it to my door step in one piece.

I ordered the bustier in an XS although after trying it on I think I would have better off with a  S because my breasts look they are about to break free from the elastic grips.  I am determined to try and work with the bustier some how so I can wear it but if all fails then I may consider selling it so someone somewhere can better use of it.

Do look out for it in future style looks because I may very well feature it in a look!

After having had the same purse for the past 5 years which is now in tatters, I felt it was time to upgrade. I chose to go for a shield lock purse from Aspinal of London for a number of reasons.

Firstly because I knew it would be of good quality and secondly because it has a number of compartments to fit my cards and all the other extra bits I hold in my purse other than money.

It is a bit bigger than my last purse so I'm still getting used to holding it in my small hands and given its quality, I'm hoping it will last me a good fews years before I have to upgrade. Thats assuming I don't change my mind over it.
