Some days requires flats heels and at the moment, I am loving my  Office ghillie flats shoes. I dont think you can get any more stylish flats than these right now! As much as I love wearing heels, I know it is not always a practical choice.

Therefore it helps to have some stylish flats stacked up to help deter me from the heels and make a much more sensible decision.

With summer fast approaching and the temperatures are soaring over here in London now is the perfect time to bring out those summer shorts hanging in the closet. I like to make the most of the sun whenever it is out because it is not often we are privileged enough to be blessed with continuous sunshine over here in London.

To avoid drawing unnecessary attention to myself on the streets of London given how short my shorts are, I threw on one this seasons on trend piece, the waistcoat to cover up and tone down the look a bit.

Do you prefer this look with or without the waistcoat?

You don't need to buy a new wardrobe to follow the SS15 white edit trend. You can collate the odd white pieces already sitting in your closet to join in on SS15's hottest trend and let me just say, that's exactly what I have done in the look above.

The  blouse featured in this look is a Massimo Dutti buy from over a year ago and the sheer skirt is one I picked up from River Island last summer. I do love to recycle pieces and create new style looks as I love the challenge of repeating a piece without necessarily repeating the look.  I featured the sheer skirt in a previous post on the blog last summer, accessorising it with a white short sleeved cotton shirt and red heels.

I personally think that this is an ideal look for those late night summer soirees. The sheer skirt is a bold statement and one that's sure to make you stand out in the crowd. Have to say that despite the lace fabric falling down to my knees I always feel as though I'm prancing around in just my knickers whenever I wear this sheer piece and I guess in a way I am. Having said that I do love the way it looks on me. What are your thoughts on the sheer skirt?

Balmain X H&M

It is now official that Balmain has signed up to be the next designer collaboration with high street store H&M. The collection is set for release on 5th November online and in selected stores. The look book for the AW15 collection is yet to be released. In the mean time you can get a taster for the collection from the promotional picture released by the Fashion house which features models Jordun Dunn and Kendall Jenner posing in pieces from the collection alongside Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing.

It be far away now but it is worth considering your strategy to get your hands on pieces from the collection as they are likely to sell out like hot cakes and make sure to save the date, 5.11.15.

The White Edit

It's safe that the white edit and the waistcoat is one of SS15's biggest trends and this is my take combining both trends. There's something about wearing an all white outfit that makes me feel angelic and pristine and it is not an easy colour to wear because you have to be forever conscious over how you carry yourself to avoid any mishaps at all cost.
