The weather may not always be warm and bright out here in London but I am certainly not done with putting together some summer style looks. I still have a few more personal style posts up my sleeve to share with you guys.  I have to say that I love, love a matching set. I always feel a sense of completeness when wearing a matching set and not to forget that they require very little styling effort.

The matching set featured in this post is made up of a top and a pair of shorts. I chose to  wear it with a belt to accentuate my waist creating the illusion of it being a one piece jumpsuit. Alternatively I could have worn the top loosely over the shorts for a more relaxed look and like most of my personal style posts, you can swap the heels for flats for an even more casual approach.

This matching set was actually from the SS14 Zara collection from last summer but not to worry because there are a heap of matching sets available to shop on ZARA.com at the moment. I am always on the hunt for a bargain so if it means buying discounted summer clothes in winter then by all means I will. After all, the seasons to do go around so eventually the next season will roll up before you know it.

Although having that mindset can prove to be a bit tricky because you can end up buying a whole load of goodies for the next season ahead that you eventually forget about so you have to be practical when buying for the season ahead.

Peep where to shop the items in the look below:
Unfortunately some of the items featured in the look are now sold out but I placed the links to similar pieces where possible.

Hat - Whistles wool fedora hat
Sunglasses - Ray Ban clubmaster
Matching set - Zara (similar)
Shoes - ZARA nude t-bar strap heels (similar)
