I was lucky enough to have attended the Bloggers Festival over the past weekend which was held at the Conrad London St. James' hotel by the lovely Scarlet Dixon of Given that it was my first bloggers event, I was incredibly impressed by how well put together the event was. It was the perfect opportunity for bloggers like myself to mix with some of the brands within the fashion, beauty and lifestyle industry and also mingle with like minded bloggers.

Upon entering the hotel, I was directed to the point of registration and handed a very handy booklet detailing the brands on site along with a floor plan to make it easier for me to spot them. Although I have to say, it was pretty easy to spot the different brands as they each had beautifully decorated stalls and tables displaying their carefully arrange products or services they had to offer. I have covered a few of my favourites from the event below and not to say the numerous freebies and samples that I received.

They will be opening up their first retail space in Pop Brixton, Station Road, SW9 8PQ from 7th-20th September so you go check them out in person as they showcase many of their delicate pieces.

Brodie and Stone is a London based international company right in the heart of soho and their aim is to create problem solution for the beauty and personal care world. At the Bloggers festival they had a varied number of skincare and hair products on display. Their representatives were very good at explaining the usefulness of the different products, pictured above is a snippet go their hair care range (from left to right)

Argan oil of Morocco - to nourish, moisturise and restore shine to hair
Brazilian Keratin - to target repair, control frizz and achieve silky smooth hair
Coconut water - for thirst quenching, lightweight hydration and luscious shine
Macadamia oil - to replenish nourishment, add brilliant shone and smooth parched dry hair
Chia seed oil - to boost volume and strengthen hair (new to the range)

I was given a few samples of the hair and skincare products and i will be trying those out to give you my trusted opinions on them especially the ultra hydrating day and night moisturiser and pro-radiance serum.

In the mean time if you are eager to try and test their products, you can find them in online at Superdrug, Ebay, Amazon and Beauty and the bunch

Celebrity releases

New releases

Paco Rabanne new release, Olympea sample

The Perfume Shop as I am sure a few of you would have already come cross, is the UK and Ireland's largest specialist perfume retailer with love 270 shops nationwide. They had an incredibly beautiful spread at the Bloggers Festival with a barbie inspired theme. The perfumes on display were grouped by new releases, celebrity releases and bestsellers.

I received a free sample of the Paco Rabanne Olympea which smells amazing, it was a welcome addition to my ever growing collection of perfumes, I blame my mother if you ask me. The Paco Rabanne I think has very nice lingering flowery and fruity scent ideal to spritz on when heading out. Its light scent which is not too overpowering and given that its eau de parfum, its sure to last on your body/clothes for a good few hours after spritzing away.

A few of the treats from the goodie bags

Ogx kukui oil and coconut water shampoo
I have so far sampled the kukui shampoo and I have to say that I was pretty impressed with its effects. It left my hair feeling relatively soft and not to forget that it smells amazing as well. I suppose in order for me to fully gage it's effectiveness, I would at least need to try out the conditioner in the range as well but based off the shampoo alone, it looks like a pretty decent product. I am yet to try out the coconut water shampoo and shall give my feedback when I try that out too.

Bare Minerals mascara
I am not a beauty expert by any means but I do love my mascaras and lipsticks. I currently swear by the Benefit 'they're real' mascara simply because it really does do wonders to extend my lashes. I swear by it so much that I pretty much don't look else where when it comes to mascara's because I am quite content with the results from the Benefit mascara. However I will be giving the Bare Minerals lash domination mascara a go to see its end results, who knows, it may just tempt me to stray away from my beloved Benefit mascara. I will share the results for you as well so you can determine how good it really is for yourselves.

Luxe jewellery tattoos
The luxe metallic tattoos is one thing that I am incredibly excited about trying out. It is most probably my favourite freebie that I picked up over the Bloggers Festival last weekend. I had been keen to try them over the summer but for one reason or another I did not get round to testing them out. Now that I have hold of a sample, rest assured that I will be having a go with them and I will most certainly be sharing the results with you guys as well. At present the luxe temporary tattoos are sold online across a number of the online retailers like Amazon.
I was so busy talking to the brand representatives during the Bloggers Festival that I was not able to capture all of the beautifully decorated stalls and tables. My new blogging buddy that I made over the weekend, Tamara from Beauty Blah Blah Blah did however mange to capture more of the displays so you can check them out on her site too for even more coverage from the event.

I hope you enjoyed reading my coverage from the Bloggers Festival 2015. Let me know if you have any questions surrounding the event and I will be sure to respond to them as soon as possible.
