The SS16 Danielle Romeril collection that showcased during London Fashion Week drew inspiration from Jackie Nickerson's photography of African farmers in their work attire as well as two shots by Viviane Sassen from which the SS16 collection took it's name of 'Paradise Lost'.

I particularly loved the mismatched patterns, the use of prints, 3D textures and layering from the SS16 collection. My favourite looks from the collection include the long black camisole top paired with the patterned trousers in picture three along with the white dress with draped layering. I also love the use of light fabrics which are ideal to cope with the sweltering heat when summer hits and enables you layer on the pieces.

The Danielle Romeril SS16 collection goes to show that layering is not only for the autumn winter seasons and that layering can very well be pulled off in the warmer months. That is something I will very well be trying when the summer comes round again.

All photographs featured in this posts were taken by myself during London Fashion Week.
