Winter Dungarees
As you may or may not know, the dungarees have made a come back. It was quite popular during the summer months and one that is still lingering on the trend boards for AW16. It is one of those pieces that are versatile to the seasonal weather changes all depending on what you choose to wear underneath.
I picked mine up from Romwe.com and thought of a number of ways tin which to style it but from wearing an oversized shirt underneath to wearing a thick jumper but ultimately I settled on wearing my Shein.com lace cut out top. It's semi weather appropriate due it being long sleeved but the laser cut design makes it a little daring for the winter chills.

Off the Shoulder & Gingham
I know that I have inundated you with gingham posts over the past couple of weeks but I can assure you that this will be the last of my gingham posts for a good while. I know that I have oversaturated my past looks with the gingham print so much so that I myself have lost that zest and excitement and will be taking a break from wearing it.
However before I carry out this break, I had to share this lovely Shein off the shoulder bell sleeve top I picked up a little while ago. It was a style that I came to love over the summer, one because I was in love with the off the shoulder trend and two because the overall style of this bell sleeve top screams sophistication to me.

Smith & Cult 1972
As promised in last week's 'Nail paint of the week' post I am wearing Smith & Cult 1972 for this week's NPOTW. A shimmering rose gold metallic shade to add some much needed sparkle to my outfit. I must say that the metallic shades are very much on trend at the moment and I for one I'm here for this sought after Smith & Cult 1972.
It sold out in the US upon its release and it looks like its all sold out over here in the UK as well proving to be a popular choice for most nail paint lovers out there. Just last week I checked its availability and was in stock across the various stockist, a week later and it is all gone.

For the love of Gingham & Billowy Sleeves
Another day, another gingham post but this time round in the form of Shein's billow sleeve top. If you haven't seen my last shopping haul over on my youtube channel then please bare with me as I have another gingham print piece to share with you. I took my obsession for the gingham print to the next level. I have not accumulated enough gingham pieces that I am going to try my hardest to steer clear of them but its incredibly difficult to do so when its all over the shops.
In my previous gingham x gingham post, I looked at mixing different coloured gingham prints, this time round I am opting for a plain block colour, keeping it simple and sleek.

Smith & Cult Darjeeling Darling
This week's nail paint of the week features Darjeeling Darling, a jaded forest green shade from Smith & Cult's AW16 collection. The Smith & Cult AW16 collection features two new colours, Darjeeling Darling and 1972, but given that green is my all time favourite colour I have opted to swatch this colour first. As you can see from the pictures, Darjeeling Darling is the ideal shade to compliment your autumn/winter colour palette.
Gingham X Gingham
I'm taking my love for the gingham print to the next level with my gingham x gingham look. Some folks tend to associate the gingham print with the summer, I see it as an all year round affair. Come spring, summer autumn or winter, you will see me wearing a gingham print of sorts.

Mink Shades & Embroidered Details
I'm mixing a bit of the old (the mink coloured coat and skirt) along with the new (embroidered shirt and fur skin shoes) as per usual. Embroidered details are very much on trend at the moment. You just can't escape it, no matter what store you walk in, you are likely to see a few embroidered pieces hanging off the rails.
I was a bit unsure about this new trend to begin with but I guess the more I saw of it, the more it grew on me. The Shein embroidered shirt featured in this post has been my first embroidered buy so far this season. I'm now loving it so much that I am thinking to add grab some more embroidered pieces to my wardrobe.

Topshop beauty Gel Nails Bravado
Last week's nail paint of the week saw me wearing 'Bravado' a bold navy shade from Topshop Beauty's new gel nail range. Given how much I love navy, its no surprise that it would be the first colour I would choose from the new colour collection of twelve.
The new Topshop gel nail range is formulated with shellac resin giving you that gel like finish ever so reminiscent of shellac that lasts up to ten days, it's ideal for the 21st century woman constantly on the go. Impressively theres no need for professional equipment or a UV lamp to achieve the long lasting gel like finish. You can achieve your very own impressive manicure from the comfort of your home in three simple steps.

Skincare essentials with Simple & Neal's Yard Remedies
As some of you will know, I am taking steps to look after my skin a lot more these days and in doing so I am very mindful about the products that I use. Much like everyone else, I want to opt for products that are gentle to my skin and help to maintain and improve it's overall health.
I personally don't believe in having to use a tonne of products to achieve a clear and healthy complexion. I have a few essentials that I swear by and have been using lately from makeup removal products by Simple to nourishing skincare products from Neal's Yard Remedies and I want to share these products with you as I believe them to be excellent at keeping my skin healthy and glowing.

Nails Inc Battersea Park
I recently ordered an autumn/winter nail paint trio collection from Nails inc so it was only right that I wore one of the colours for my nail paint of the week post. The trio collection featured a dusky pink shade, an aubergine shade and a khaki green colour and judging from the pictures you can tell which one I opted to wear first. The khaki green shade goes by the name of Battersea Park, a park that bares fond memories for me.
I must also add that the trio collection of full sized nail paint bottles was on sale for only £10! If you are a Nails inc fiend like myself then you know how much of a big deal this really is. In past times, the collection has sold out before I could snag one up. I am beyond excited to have the autumn/winter trio collection and I will be sharing swatches of all three colour shades in the coming weeks.

Feeling the Blues
Just last week I was reading up on social media anxiety disorder over on Carelle-Style.com and I felt like I resonated with so much of what was written on her blog. I read her post and felt like the old me identified with so much of what was said but the truth of the matter is that I haven't quite conquered this disorder. I still find myself battling with a serious case of social media anxiety from time to time and as recently as yesterday I found myself mentally crippled by this very disorder.

The Sports Luxe Edition
The sports luxe look has fast become a popular fashion trend over the past year and is currently seen as a favourite with a number of fashionistas including myself. The trend can be seen as a crossover of two style looks, the coming together of sports wear and smart-casual attire.
This trend breaks some of the old school fashion rules. For instance the sports luxe look makes it acceptable to wear your joggers with a pair of heels rather than limiting your footwear to just a pair of trainers.

Yves Saint Laurent Ambre Gingembre
Now that it is fully fledged autumnal weather, I can start reaching for those autumnal shades. I have a whole line of autumnal shades to share with you, some old, some new. I cannot wait to unviel the new shades that I've snapped up from Chanel and Nails inc. in the meantime, let's talk about Yves Saint Laurent's Ambre Gingembre, a burnt orange shade that I have been rocking on my nails this past week.

A Change in Direction
I am very much aware of the fact that I don't share a great deal about myself on this blog as I tend to leave that to my Youtube. I try to stick to a topic of fashion and beauty on here but these days I find myself wandering if that is enough. I'm not saying that I am going to quit writing about the fashion and beauty but I am considering taking a step into a different direction when it comes to my blog.
When I look at Kuiya's Kloset, I want the blog to be a representation of my world. I want the blog to embody me as a person. For me the word 'Kloset' does not merely imply an actual closet but rather my world and my world as it stands is made up of a lot more than just fashion and beauty. While I will continue to write on fashion and beauty, I want to branch out and cover new areas whether it be of a personal nature or a social issue that I want to share with you guys. I want to not only branch out on the topical side of things but to also experiment with the way in which I present this information to you.

Neal's Yard Wild Rose Beauty Balm
The latest addition to my beauty rack is none other than Neal's Yard Remedies wild rose beauty balm. It was a product that I picked up over at 'The Apartment' during organic beauty week a couple of weeks ago and it is one that I have come to love dearly.
I have been fortunate enough to have pretty clear skin that requires very little maintenance but that does not stop me from making the effort to look after my skin. I can admit that a couple of years back I used very little beauty products but these days, I am making a conscious effort to try and test new products that I will be sharing with you as time goes on.

LFW DAY TWO LOOK: CONSERVATIVE NOT
I was lucky enough to have had REIN sort out my London fashion week look for day two. I remember viewing this two piece suit at their AW16 presentation in February so it was my go to choice when the opportunity came to select pieces to wear to preview SS17 collections this past fashion week.

AUTUMN READY LIP SHADES, SLEEK MATTE ME FIRED UP, GLOSS ME PHOENIX RISING & MULBERRY LIPSTICK
SLEEK MAKEUP MULBERRY LIPSTICK
It is only a matter of time before the last remnants of summer becomes a faint memory for most of us over here in London. While the cold chills awaits us it is best to start thinking about the autumnal lip shades to see you through the season. I have compiled a small selection of Sleek Makeup lip products that I feel would be great to compliment the dark colour palette of your autumn/winter wardrobe.
First up on my list is the Mulberry lipstick which is my favourite on my list with it's dark blackberry shade and sheen finish. It is the darkest offering of lipstick shade from Sleek Makeup and I found it to be incredibly pigmented although I felt I did have to apply a few swatches to get the desired colour intensity that you see in the image above. The lipstick feels smooth and creamy on application and the finish is truly divine as you can see. I lined my lips with MAC's night moth lip liner before then applying the Mulberry lipstick on to my lips. As always I made sure to first apply my EOS lip balm to ensure my lips remained moisturised under the lipstick application.
SLEEK MAKEUP MATTE ME FIRED UP LIP CREAM
The next lip product featured on my list of autumnal ready lip shades from Sleek Makeup is the Matte me liquid lipstick, Fired Up. Which is a suitable crimson shade which is going to be ideal for those autumnal months.
I'm a big fan of the Sleek's matte me lip creams, I've been hooked on birthday suit and shabby chic for the longest so it will be interesting to see if I get hooked on Fired Up during the cold months. The matte lip creams are long lasting liquid lipsticks that can see you through the day and won't leave your lips all cracked up and chapped at the end of the day. I chose to first line my lips with MAC's cherry lip liner before then applying the Fired Up lip cream which took about a minute or so to completely dry up and 'mattify' as pictured in the above image.
I do recommend applying a bit of coconut oil onto your cleansing wipe when wiping the lip cream off your lips. It's a great ingredient that makes the removal process easier and quicker.

NAIL PAINT OF THE WEEK: NAILS INC GREAT EASTERN STREET STAY BRIGHT NEON
NAILS INC. GREAT EASTER STREET STAY BRIGHT POLISH
We may be coming to the end of summer over here in London but I am still trying to hold on that little bit longer with my neon polish.
I finally got round to swatching the last of Nails Inc. neon bright polish this week for you. We have here Great Eastern Street, a neon bright melon shade and much like the other two shades, its non fade and stays bright for the duration of the wear.

TOPSHOP SASHAY AWAY AND BOOKWORM LIPSTICK REVIEW & SWATCH
TOPSHOP BOOKWORM & SASHAY AWAY LIPSTICK
SASHAY AWAY LIPSTICK ON THE LIPS
Topshop's 'Sashay Away' lipstick is a brown tone lipstick that appears to have a satin finish that works as an excellent nude lipstick for me. I love how the sashay away lipstick glides on to my lips with complete ease with a full and proper coverage. It has fast become my go to nude/brown lipstick in my collection.
I first lined my lips with MAC's chestnut lipliner before applying Sashay Away to achieve the finish you can see in the pictures above. You can watch my video review in the clip below to see how I achieved this finish step by step.

NAIL PAINT OF THE WEEK: NAILS INC. CLARIDGE GARDENS STAY BRIGHT NEON
It's back to the neon brights for this week's 'nail paint of there week' post after a week of sporting a mild tone. This time round, I am sporting the ever so bright electric pink polish, Claridge Gardens from Nails inc summer 2016 releases stay bright polish collection.

SUMMER STRIPES
Today's outfit features a new in the kloset piece courtesy of Shein in the form of the shirt dress featured in this post.
When it comes to prints, I'm a big fan of stripes and gingham. I find them to be versatile prints that can be paired with pretty much any pattern or texture out there.

NAIL PAINT OF THE WEEK: NAILS INC. TRAFALGAR MEWS
NAILS INC TRAFALGAR MEWS
After going for a neon bright shade last week, I wanted to keep things mellow so I choose Nails inc. Trafalgar Mews, a blush pink shade from the coconut brights gel effect collection. The coconut gel effect collection is infused with coconut water to hydrate your nails. It is an ideal way to wear a bit of colour on your nails whilst also knowing your nails are being cared for in the summer heat.
NAILS INC SUMMER 2016 RELEASES
NAILS INC SUMMER 2016 RELEASE
(L-R) CLARIDGE GARDENS, GOLDEN LANE & GREAT EASTERN STREET
The stay bright neon collection has been one of the most colourful additions to the Nails Inc for summer 2016. The collection features three non fade neon polish in an electric pink shade, a shocking yellow shade, fluro coral and a neon orange shade (not pictured).
I have already worn Golden Lane in a previous post and I can assure you that the neon polishes really are non fade and stay bright for the duration of the wear. As long as you apply the neon activator polish on your nails first before applying your preferred neon polish, you will not be disappointed with the finish results.
I wore Golden Lane on my nails for at least seven days before going for a mellow pink shade in the form of Trafalgar Mews also by Nails inc. I am now itching to try out Claridge Gardens so you can expect a post on that very soon.
The Nails inc. stay bright neon collection is available to buy in stores like House of Fraser and Selfridges but you can also grab it online too at Nailsinc.com for £15 a bottle.
(L-R) CHELSEA PARK LANE, TRAFALGAR MEWS, PORTOBELLO TERRACE, CHARLES STREET & ST JAMES PLACE
The collection new for summer 2016 is the coconut brights gel effect nail polishes. The formulation for the coconut gel effect collection is infused with coconut water, a conditioning agent to hydrate those nails through the summer months.
The colours featured are summer appropriate with a varied colour tones from a dove grey shade, blush nude, sky blue, hot pink and a pastel baby peach shade. I have been wearing Trafalgar Mews (blush nude) for the past week and will be sharing my "NPOTW" post on that very soon.
One of the things that I love about the Nails inc gel paints is the glossy salon finish that it provides. The finish is so glossy that you don't need a top coat but a top coat is always recommended to maintain the glossy finish for longer. The collection is available on Nailsinc.com retailing for £29.
