LFW AW16 DIARIES: DAY TWO...GABRIEL VIELMA, GEORGIA HARDINGE, MINKI CHENG, OMER ASIM

GABRIEL VIELMA

I loved the Gabriel Vielma AW16 collection for its blend of bold beautiful shades of orange along with its muted shades of khaki and black. The collection featured a number of cascading ruffles, soft pleats and belted pieces which was paying homage to the aqua submarine life.

MINKI CHENG

According to the press release, the Mink Cheng AW16 collection was inspired by the designer's nostalgic reminder of his childhood. His signature use of vibrant colours and interact textures run through his AW16 collection including metallic pleated pockets and peplums.

The AW16 collection offers a glimpse into an exciting fantasy realm full of colour and fun, perfect for today's Minki Cheng girl.

GEORGIA HARDINGE

A personal favourite of mine, Georgia Hardinge did not fail to impress with her AW16 collection.  I wasn't able to photograph all the pieces from her collection but hopefully you can appreciate the pieces that I was able to capture just as much as I did.

There was so much that I loved from the Georgia Hardinge AW16 collection, from the soft and delicate shapes that featured to the navy, grey and pink hues. I loved how these feminine shapes draped the models frames as they sauntered in a line from one of the room to the other. It most definitely made for a pretty sight.

OMER ASIM

The signature bodice was ever prevalent in Omer Asim's AW16 collection with the the majority of his designs created in hues of blue grey and black. Once again he has created some bold structured shapes that further emphasis the beauty of the female form. My favourite design from the AW16 collection has to be the structured black bodice paired with the grey pleated skirt.
