BIRTHDAY NAIL PAINT COURTESY OF COWSHED

This post has been long overdue given that I celebrated my birthday on 13th February. Nonetheless it is one that I am still going to share with you.

I was treated to a birthday manicure at the Cowshed spa in Primrose Hill, North London by one of my very close friends. Needless to say, it is one of the best manicures that I have had to date. It was an incredibly pleasant experience and I have to say that the Cowshed spa was none like any other that I have been to previously.

Upon entering the venue I was greeted by the staff, pointed in the direction of the waiting area and also given the opportunity to choose a nail paint from the collection they had on display. Once I had had my chosen nail paint, I was met by my nail technician was led me to my seat who then ensured I was comfortable.

Before getting started she wiped off the old polish off my nails and then massaged a hand scrub onto both hands. Following this I had an oil rubbed into my skin before she dutifully applied my chosen polish Cheeky purpl-exed nail paint. She started off with a base coat followed by two applications of my chosen nail paint before finishing off with a top coat to seal the deal.

Oh and before I forget, I was offered a complimentary drink of my choice during all of this butI was too busy enjoying my treatment that I barely sipped on my hot mocha. Although I did gulp it all down after treatment was over and I no longer had the fear of smudging my beautifully paint nails.

I would encourage everyone to pay a visit to the cowshed spa for a manicure. As it was a birthday present I am not sure on the exact package my friend chose for me but I believe it may have been the cowshed manicure for 45 mins. You can have a look at the various treatments over on cowshedonline.com and decide which treatment type suits you best. I have no doubt that you will enjoy your experience. I will most definitely be paying a visit out of my own pocket in the near future.
