For the love of Gingham & Billowy Sleeves

Another day, another gingham post but this time round in the form of Shein's billow sleeve top. If you haven't seen my last shopping haul over on my youtube channel then please bare with me as I have another gingham print piece to share with you. I took my obsession for the gingham print to the next level. I have not accumulated enough gingham pieces that I am going to try my hardest to steer clear of them but its incredibly difficult to do so when its all over the shops.

In my previous gingham x gingham post, I looked at mixing different coloured gingham prints, this time round I am opting for a plain block colour, keeping it simple and sleek.

This season its all about the sleeves, from bell sleeves, oversized sleeves to billowy sleeves.  I'm personally loving the exaggerated sleeve trend at the moment. I've already had a go at styling the bell sleeves which I featured in my 'A change in direction' post over a month ago. Much like when I styled the bell sleeves, I wanted the billow sleeves to be the main attraction of the outfit so I was inevitably going to go for either a pair of skinny jeans or a fitted pencil skirt, I opted for the latter in the end.

I chose an XS for the Shein billow sleeve top but I do feel like I should have gone a size up as it tends to gather up annoyingly round the neck because it is too fitted around my bust area.
