Winter Dungarees

As you may or may not know, the dungarees have made a come back. It was quite popular during the summer months and one that is still lingering on the trend boards for AW16. It is one of those pieces that are versatile to the seasonal weather changes all depending on what you choose to wear underneath.

I picked mine up from Romwe.com and thought of a number of ways tin which to style it but from wearing an oversized shirt underneath to wearing a thick jumper but ultimately I settled on wearing my Shein.com lace cut out top. It's semi weather appropriate due it being long sleeved but the laser cut design makes it a little daring for the winter chills.

I picked up the Dungarees in a size M which was just about the perfect fit for my size 6/8 frame. I say a size 6/8 frame because my top half is nearly always a size 6 but when it comes to trousers I sometimes have to reach for a size 8 inside because my thighs will not fit through that of a size 6.

My only issue with the dungarees was that it came up a little short of me sitting above my ankles. Whereas over on Romwe.com the dungarees sat firmly around the model's ankles. I stand at 5 ft 7" so if you happen to be around the same height or taller then do bare in mind that the dungarees are likely to fall short on your frame, quite literally.

I am someone who is very fond of Topshop jeans so for me to branch out and try a new brand of jeans is rather quite rare. Although the Romwe dungarees are great in style it somewhat lacks in quality. I find the jean fabric is not sturdy enough for my liking and quite frankly on the flimsy side. I often to tend to go for tops and dresses from the likes of Romwe and I think going forward I will continue to do so because I much prefer the quality of those pieces. They are a much safer choice for me and my kloset.

I threw on my old season Zara coat to complete the look because lets face it in these chilly temperatures, your outfit is not complete without an outerwear piece.

Apologises for bombarding you with several photos from this shoot, My photographer Elena Gola did  an amazing job. I had to restrain myself from sharing even more from the shoot.
