The Zara "IT" shirt for Summer

The off the shoulder trend just wont let up and I for one i'm not sick of it just yet. As I have always said there is something very feminine and sultry about the off the shoulder look that oozes sex appeal in the most elegant way possible.

This last time year I was creating my very own DIY off the shoulder looks with the standard white shirt. Fast forward to this year and you can now buy purposely created off the shoulder shirt like this green striped creation from ZARA with the added feature of a puffy sleeve.

Zara's wide open neck shirt with puffy sleeves some how  manages to incorporate a few of my favourite trends at the moment which is:

1. The off the shoulder
2. Stripes
3. Statement sleeves

All the above details combined together go to make this Zara wide open shirt one of my all time favourite creations despite only getting my hands on it a few weeks ago. Along with my summer it dress, the red off the shoulder gingham dress, this off the shoulder striped top will be high on my list of pieces that I will have in heavy rotation over the summer months. With that being said, don't be surprised if you happen to see this Zara creation featured on here very soon.

NEW Barry M SS17 Coconut Infusion Polish shades

The Barry M coconut infusion collection just keeps on growing and growing ever since its launch last year. This summer, Barry M are expanding the coconut infusion with four new colourful and vibrant shades to see us through the summer months. The four new shades are Lemonade, Flip Flop, Scuba and Popsicle all pictured above.

The four new colours cover the bare basics that you will need to compliment that summer wardrobe in the coming months. To make your life easier, I have gone ahead and swatched all four colours so you have an idea of what each one looks liken before you hit the shops.

As with all polishes from the coconut infusion range, there is no need to apply a base coat due to the protective attributes and nutrients in the nail paint  formulation. A top coat can be applied if desired but it is not essential given the gel like finish from the polish. Although I often apply a top coat to complete all my manicures, I didn't opt to do so in this instance and despite the lack of it, the nail paints dried up with a glossy gel like finish which you can see below.

LEMONADE

Lemonade is a fitting name for this acid like yellow shade which I happen to like the best out of the four new shades. I find that the colour compliments my skin tone pretty well and will be a go to shade for me over the summer months.

FLIP FLOP

Flip Flop is a vibrant bold tomato orange shade that will undoubtedly add a pop of colour to your summer wardrobe.

SCUBA

Suba to me is reminiscent is of an aqua blue marine shade that will add an icy cool touch to your summer pieces.

POPSICLE

Popiscle to me is a bold vibrant magenta pink shade, a fun  feminine shade sure to add a pop of colour to compliment those summer pieces.
